| Sunday
mornings
We meet most Sundays at 10:30am in Armthorpe Community Centre, Welfare Park, Church Street, Armthorpe, Doncaster, DN3 3AN. We usually finish by about
12:00, but stay for a cup of tea or coffee and a chat.

What
happens during a meeting?
We usually begin by singing worship songs. We pray together and give opportunity
for anyone to contribute to the meeting. We will listen to teaching which
is designed to help us understand what the bible tells us about God and
his purposes for our lives.
Why
do we sing songs?
To express our thanks and love for God. The songs also help to remind
us about amazing truths such as God's unconditional love for us.
The
Holy Spirit
The Bible tells
us that God lives with his people and God makes His presence felt through
the person of Holy Spirit. He enables people to speak God's words (which
we call prophecy) and to have faith for God to heal people and meet their
needs. God works in many ways but always for our good and in a loving
way. Before praying for anyone we always ask their permission. So there
is nothing to fear even though you may not be used to seeing these things.
Community
The other reason for meeting is to meet new people and build friendships.
The church is like a family and our meetings are a great time to see each
other.
